Who owns my audiobook?
You do. You keep all copyrights, control, and royalties. I am only uploading your audiobook to your account that you control and can use to track your sales.

Do I need to give you my ACX login?
Yes. I’ll need to log into your account to upload the audiobook. You can change your password afterward. ACX will send a verification code to your phone or email when I log in, which you'll simply pass along to me. I've done this hundreds of times.

What if my files aren't formatted correctly?
No problem. I’ll review everything first and let you know if anything needs to be fixed. If it's a quick fix, I’ll do it for free.

How long does it take to go live on Audible?
Once submitted, Audible usually takes 14 days to approve your audiobook. If we are sending to the other platforms (like Barnes & Noble), they take closer to 30 days. These platforms will notify you when they're live.

Can I sell my audiobook on other platforms besides Audible?
Yes. After checkout, we can discuss publishing your audiobook to 40+ other platforms like Spotify, Google Books, Walmart, and Barnes & Noble using Findaway Voices.

This is a choice you must make with me after checkout. If you choose this option (non-exclusive), Audible will only give you 25% royalty for audiobooks, instead of (exclusive) 40% royalty.

I recommend publishing only to Audible if you are U.S.-based, and publishing on all the platforms if you are outside the U.S.

Do I need a Kindle version of my book to get on Audible?
Yes. ACX requires that your audiobook is linked to an existing Kindle version on Amazon. If you don’t have one, but you do have a PDF or Word manuscript, I’ll publish your book to Kindle for free as part of this service.
